As an experiment during the pandemic lockdown Castle Players are presenting “Where Have All the Boys Gone” by “Kevin Barnett” as an online “play for voices”
We will be trialling this,
by invitation only for Castle Players members, on Sunday 31st May.
If this works as we anticipate, fingers crossed, we will repeat it on the next Sunday
June 7th for the public at large, tickets available from 1st
June.
Both performances will
commence at 19:30, with login from 19:00, and will last approximately 60

“Where Have All the Boys Gone” by “Kevin Barnett” is set at the time of the First World War. The play examines the manipulation of society by the ruling class in support of the war, notable via the White Feather movement and the costs paid by the many for what they had hoped might be a “Land fit for Heroes”. Kevin is new member of Castle Players, who has played numerous roles on stage and written short stories, plays and performance poetry.
We will be performing it “Live” on-line using Zoom Conferencing. Both productions are free and you are cordially welcome to join us.
Tickets for Dead Man’s Hand are now available online, go to the Tickets page from the menu above and will be available from 1st March from Tinkers & Belles and the Bull Beaumaris.
We recommend early booking to avoid disappointment!
